The Northwest’s most popular arts festival since 1957 is the perfect gift to experience with your dad this Father’s Day. That’s right, the timing could not be better because the 2022 Edmonds Arts Festival is happening this Father’s Day Weekend, June 17 to June 19.
An art lover’s paradise with over 200 artist booths and award-winning, juried art, the Edmonds Arts Festival cannot be missed. Enjoy live entertainment, student art exhibits, food, and more, plus visit with local artists involved in jewelry making, painting, and photography. You can even watch these artists while they create their work, and you can purchase your favorites from local vendors.
Here are just some of the artists you’ll meet at the Edmonds Arts Festival this year.
Angela Bandurka, poster artist
Bandurka is the official poster artist for the 2022 Edmonds Arts Festival and has a solo show going on now through June 19 at the Edmonds Arts Festival Gallery where you can view more of her work!
Mike O’Day, cartoonist and caricature artist
Right now, O’Day creates artwork in clay. His garden art, murals, and assorted creatures are seen throughout the area and in galleries from Edmonds to Seattle.
Julie Perrine, sculpture artist
Perrine creates functional, sculptural work with clay. Her one-of-a kind pieces are hand-formed, which she describes as painterly and playful!
Proceeds from the Edmonds Arts Festival go to the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to education and the cultural enrichment of the community through arts. They provide funds for public art installations, scholarships, and grants to local schools.
