The NFL and the Seattle Seahawks are committed to honoring the servicemen and servicewomen who have dedicated their lives to protecting the freedom of the United States. To help celebrate the work and dedication of U.S. military members, veterans, and their families, the Seahawks are partnering with the Seattle Army Recruiting Battalion to host an All-Army exhibition space at Touchdown City before every home game here in Seattle!
These engagements will also allow the public a way to see and interact with its Army. Every game day, fans can compete in Army fitness activities and get hands-on access to Army equipment and vehicles, provided by Joint Base Lewis-McChord. There will also be a 50-foot gaming trailer available, plus plenty of opportunities to win free Seahawks gear!
The Oct. 30 game against the New York Giants is extra special because that will be the Salute To Service game. Before kickoff, young women and men from the Seattle area will raise their right hand in front of the Touchdown City crowd and take the oath of enlistment, dedicating themselves to service in the U.S. Army.
Salute To Service is a yearlong NFL program from the league and its players, and holding an enlistment ceremony at a gameday event in Touchdown City is a great opportunity to honor those who have made the commitment to serve this country.
Remember, every Seahawks game day at Lumen Field is a chance to enjoy the special U.S. Army engagement event! For a full schedule, visit seahawks.com. To learn more about the U.S. Army and how to start the recruitment process, visit goarmy.com/seattle.
