Find the perfect health care plan for your family and your wallet

Open enrollment is here! This is the time, between Nov. 1 and Jan. 15, 2023, when you can shop around for health care and dental plans that fit your needs. Don't know where to start? Washington Healthplanfinder is the marketplace where you can search for coverage that you and your family can use starting on Jan. 1 when you enroll by Dec. 15.

Every household is different, but they all need health insurance. Whether you expect them or not, health care costs can take a bite out of your budget. Some people receive health care benefits through their employer, but not everyone does. Washington Healthplanfinder offers plans and savings for households of any size and insurance benefits status.

And now there's a new way to save money on health insurance through Cascade Care Savings plans! These plans have Cascade in the name and can offer you exclusive savings on your monthly premiums, giving you quality health care coverage, savings at the time of treatment, and savings on your recurring bills. Cascade Care Savings enables most eligible customers to get a high-quality plan through Washington Healthplanfinder for less than $10 a month, and for the first time in Exchange history, customers can find plans with $0 monthly premiums!

Cascade Care Savings is a state-funded premium assistance program available to individuals and families earning up to 250% of the federal poverty limit — generally low-wage and part-time workers (who usually don't receive benefits through their employer because of their part-time status).

Cascade Care plans are only available through Washington Healthplanfinder and cover more services before meeting the deductible, including primary care visits, mental health services, and generic drugs.

Where quality health care begins

Anything you see on Washington Healthplanfinder must meet a certain quality threshold for health insurance. Checking your options is free and secure. You can browse WAHealthplanfinder.org anonymously or take a few minutes to create an account and see how much you could save. Each plan is required to cover doctor and ER visits, prescriptions, prenatal and postnatal care, mental health treatment, lab tests, and more. Beyond that, there is a hierarchy system sorted by bronze, silver, and gold levels that allow you to customize your coverage plan based on how you live or plan to live in the next year. Preventive care services are included in most of these plans for free.

When can you start the process?

You can visit WAHealthplanfinder.org at any time between now (Nov. 1) and Jan. 15, 2023. First-timers can begin their coverage plans, and current customers can renew their plans or make changes. Make sure you have all the essential documents required to make the process go as smoothly as possible.
