The best place for berry picking this summer just might be at a Hemp Farm

'Tis the season for berry picking and outdoor markets! And this particular one in Redmond just happens to be on a Hemp Farm.

One of the well-known U-Pick farms in Redmond now has far more than just berries, apples, and pumpkins...you can snack on your freshly picked blueberries and watch cannabis plants grow right in front of your eyes.

Jessi Bloom is the Owner of NW Bloom Ecological Services, hemp farmer, and co-host of Blooming Market. Natali from ZOZ Wellness is a big player in the cannabis space focusing on sustainability and transforming cannabis into a universally accepted elixir for pleasure, wellness, and relief.

These two women joined forces after a series of what can only be described as kismet run-ins to create a powerhouse partnership. Realizing they both had a strong passion for organically grown cannabis and other herbs that aid in overall wellness, Natali and Jessi chose to team up to ensure they can oversee every ounce (pun intended) of the growing process and know exactly where their product is coming fro

Not only are these women breaking glass ceilings in the cannabis industry, they are cultivating business partnerships and an overall community culture focused on inclusion first.

The Blooming Market on Saturdays is a prime example of this. This particular market is a female-powered collective of awesome women selling farmed fruits and vegetables, artisanal crafts, and a variety of locally made products. And on occasion, even the ever popular Henna tattoo. The market is open on Saturdays from 10am-3pm including Organic U-Pick blueberries from 10am-noon.

Located at S. 47 Farms in Redmond, swing by to participate in U-Pick as well as get a chance to see the plants, learn something, and enjoy being together. Feel free to bring the kiddos too! With Jessi and Natali both being moms themselves, they welcome families to join in the festivities, including a small hay maze for the little ones.

Fighting the stigma of cannabis and the challenges that women often face in business, these two are blazing the trail for a diverse culture that empowers all that are involved.

Visit the Blooming Market on Saturdays from 10am-3pm and stay up to date on all things NW Bloom Farm by following them on Instagram.
