The 12th Man got prettier

The 12th Man just got prettier.
Lady 12 is a new clothing line and community dedicated to making women Seahawks fans look fashionable while supporting the team and impacting the community.
Joe Tafoya is the man who brought Seattle the brands Legion of Boom and Volume 12, which invited the Guinness Book of World Records to document CenturyLink Field's fans new world record. As a former Seahawk himself, Tafoya is incredibly invested in the fans. So when he and his wife Brandelyn saw a need for more attractive fan apparel for women, they created Lady 12.
"Lady 12 is a clothing line and group we put together to show our appreciation to the women fans," said Brandelyn. "We realized there was a market and we wanted to give people something to rally around."
Rallying is certainly one way to put it. Lady 12's goal is to have events every other Blue Friday at various Albertson stores to bring the community together and have a meet and greet with the past or present players.
Not only is this all to honor the 12th Woman but also to give back to the community through partnering charities.
"There will always be a charity linked to our events," said Brandelyn. "Lady 12 uses its platform to help different causes."
Last Friday hundreds of eager fans came together in honor of the brand and team to give back to the Mill Creek Food Bank. With canned food donations, fans also had the opportunity to meet Cooper Helfet, the Seahawks Tight End.
"It feels awesome to have so many Lady 12 fans!" said Helfet, smiling at the crowd. "All the players have personal charities we choose - we like to raise awareness of different causes."
The local Albertsons stores the rallies are held at also carry all the Lady 12 gear, along with other sports apparel.
"Joe Tafoya and I asked 'How can we get involved in the community? How can we be part of the bigger Seahawk picture and partner with local agencies in community?'" said Brian Winters, Albertsons General Sales Manager. "Alberstons wants to be part of the community and we love the Seahawks!"
