Bring the fam: Seattle's Pacific Science Center reopens

Need a fresh activity for the kids this summer? There's fun for the whole family in downtown Seattle.

The Pacific Science Center is back open for the first time since March 2020 when COVID-19 hit the region.

The center reopened July 6, 2022 and will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this summer. You can buy tickets online.

"We are thrilled to welcome visitors back to PacSci for brand new experiences as well as familiar ones that our community knows and loves," PacSci CEO Will Daugherty said. "We are proud of the ways we were able to serve the community over the past two years and look forward to igniting curiosity with our in-person experiences again."

There is not a vaccine or mask policy in place for visitors to see the Tropical Butterfly House, Planetarium or any other exhibit.

The IMAX theaters will also be open. You can find out more about the reopening here.

To round out your visit to PacSci, take the kids to the giant play structure next to MoPOP, grab lunch in the Armory or stay for an event at Climate Pledge Arena.
