This is for all you fitspos and New Year's resolution-ists out there - you're in the right place! Seattle was ranked the seventh best city for an active lifestyle.
According to a study from Wallethub, "lose weight and exercise more" is at the top of the list for New Year's resolutions and only about 8 percent of people actually stick to those goals. But! If you live in Seattle and fitness is a "New Year, New You" vibe, there is a chance that 8 percent could become you!
Wallethub analyzed where Americans have the best chance of balancing a healthy diet with ample physical activity and compared the 100 biggest U.S. cities across metrics including average monthly fitness-club fee to bike score to share of physically inactive adults to name a few.
In a list of 100 cities, Seattle scored high in fitness centers per capita, percent of healthy adults, and walk score, coming in at 9th, 6th and 10th respectively.
