Seattle's IMAX reopens in time for 'Top Gun: Maverick'

Seeing a movie on IMAX at Seattle's Pacific Science Center should be on every PNW bingo card. Now you can fill that square and enjoy the hit movie of the year at the same time.

After a long hiatus due to COVID protocols, Seattle's IMAX theaters reopened in May 2022. What else happened that month? "Top Gun: Maverick" finally released in theaters and the stars have aligned for you to see it on a VERY big screen.

Seattle's IMAX screen is six stories high (60 feet) and 80-feet wide, creating an unforgettable experience for moviegoers.

So if you haven't seen the new "Top Gun" yet -- or need an excuse to see it again, but BIGGER -- here you go! The movie runs through this weekend at IMAX.

BONUS: Purchasing a ticket to Boeing IMAX Theater at Seattle's Pacific Science Center helps support science education across Washington state.
