R-Day, celebrating Rainier Beer, returning to Georgetown after hiatus

Mark your calendar for September 24 — R-Day is back, baby.

After a two-year hiatus, this iconic celebration of the history and legacy of Rainier Beer is returning to Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood. This free event features live music, games, food and Rainier tall boys all around, typically drawing hundreds of people. You'll likely see a red jacket or two donning that with the iconic "R."

The music lineup includes Burien hip-hop artist Travis Thompson, rock band Naked Giants and funk & soul group True Loves accompanied by Shaina Shepherd, as well as KEXP's DJ Abbie. This event is for people 21 and older only.
