You can't miss it when you show up. Right next to Paine Field in Everett sits High Trek Adventures — ropes course and ziplines, it's the perfect escape for summer fun.
"Our high ropes course is three levels of fun," said general manager Shannon Olson. "I like to call it an adult jungle gym that we allow kids on."
The three ziplines are nearly two football fields long — the longest zip ride in the Pacific Northwest. But before you get wild on the ropes and ziplines, you're required to watch a safety video and meet with a guide (for good reason).
Well, somehow, I let my daredevil children talk me into going. They had no problem navigating the ropes course. But when you're 60 feet above the ground, life changes. The ropes course and ziplines are perfect for all ages. There's a small zipline for kids who are just learning and need to build confidence and other courses catering to everyone. There is a green rock wall at the top of the ropes course — you have to have some guts to climb that high.
Just being near the courses will make your head spin. It's super challenging but also a ton of fun. So whether you're soaring through the sky on ziplines, climbing up 60-feet high or even tackling the spider web, High Trek Adventures will allow you to build memories for a lifetime.
