Walks, Trots & Zombie Chases: Fall/Winter Fun Runs in the Seattle area

One thing is certain about those who live in Seattle. We like to move. Walking, running or biking, with child or pooch – you can’t keep us off the streets. Inclement weather may stop some folks in other parts of the country, but not us. We’ll run in any kind of weather. And even say we enjoy it.

With more indoor events happening, many fun runs are popping up all around us. Some support local charities while others were created just to get people off the couch. Even the big Seattle Marathon happens during this time. Whatever your reason, there are a lot to choose from. This year we have races where you can run away from zombies, trot along with turkeys or chill with Santa Claus. Some are even offering finishers some cool swag including glasswork, pajama bottoms and the classic t-shirt.

We’ve compiled a large list of running events scheduled now through the end of the year. Since technically you can ran anywhere, this list doesn’t include virtual runs. Sign up right away as these are bound to fill up quickly.
