National Hamburger Day is May 28, and there's a certain Fremont restaurant that thinks "Uneeda free one" to celebrate!
Uneeda Burger is offering free classic burgers that Friday as a thank you to the community for supporting them through the pandemic.
"The past 15 months have been such a challenging time, yet the Seattle community has continued to show up and support us," said Uneeda Burger chef and owner Scott Staples. "We're all cautiously optimistic in celebrating science, and a slow return to new normalcy, so as summer – and National Hamburger Day – approaches, we all need a reason to rejoice."
The classic burger includes a beef patty, lettuce, pickles, tomato and house sauce on a sesame seed bun — add-ons like bacon, cheese and a fried egg will be available for an additional fee. One burger per customer will be offered while supplies last, and this special is only available for walk-up and in-person orders only.
