Say hello to your 2022 James Beard Award FINALISTS!

The "Oscars" of the culinary world named its finalists, and three Seattle chefs and one restaurant made the list:

• Outstanding Chef: Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi, Joule
  
• Outstanding Restaurant: The Walrus and the Carpenter
• Best Chef: Northwest and Pacific: Mutsuko Soma, Kamonegi

We're extending the biggest of congrats to our local finalists! The winners will be honored during the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards ceremony Monday, June 13, in Chicago. Find the complete list of semifinalists online.
