5 Pioneer Square outdoor dining options perfect for a sunny Seattle day

Back in December, eating outdoors was the only way we were allowed to dine at restaurants — did you just get a flashback to wearing a huge puffer jacket sitting next to a heater trying to enjoy a beer? Yeah, big same.

But now, summer is right around the corner, and it's been pretty beautiful in Seattle the past couple of weeks. So eating outside is more than welcomed. Seattle has tons of outdoor dining options, and there are plenty in Pioneer Square — there's a little bit of everything. Here are five options to check out:

Trophy Pizza

Hours: Tuesday to Friday, noon to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m.
Location: 121 S King St., Seattle

If you love a good pizza (and who doesn't?!), head over to Trophy Pizza. This little shop is part of the Huxley Wallace Collective. Try out their spicy Hawaiian or the bacon and shrooms. Trophy also has appetizers, sandwiches, salads and pasta.

Burb's Burgers

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, noon to 9 p.m.
Location: 121 S King St., Seattle

This burger joint is also part of the Huxley Wallace Collective. They've got, of course, burgers, as well as fried chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, hot dog sandwiches, chicken nuggets and more.

Il Terrazzo Carmine

Hours: Monday to Saturday, 5 to 10 p.m.
Location: 411 1st Avenue S, Seattle

If you're looking for a delicious plate of pasta, look no further than the Italian fine dining restaurant Il Terrazzo Carmine. This place has been serving up food since 1984. Here, you can find a variety of pasta and risotto dishes, antipasti and more.

London Plane

Hours: Wednesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Location: 300 Occidental Avenue S, Seattle

This spot is part market, part cafe, part bakery and floral shop (just a little bit of everything, NBD). You can find assorted pastries, croissants, breakfast sammies, salads, bowls, sandwiches, coffee and cocktails at the cafe. What's not to love?

Browne Family Vineyards

Hours: Sunday to Monday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Location: 413 First Avenue S, Seattle

Wine tasting, a simple yet luxurious pleasure. This winery offers just that in its tasting room, which features dark wood, antique lighting and leather seating creating a wonderful atmosphere with a PNW aesthetic — all while experiencing an array of wine made right here in Washington.
