It's AAPI Heritage Month, a local coffee shop wants spread the word on Vietnamese coffee

A lot of people can’t get through the day without their cup of coffee.

What many people may not know is that Vietnam is one of the biggest sources of coffee beans in the world.

"We are a coffee shop that also promotes Vietnamese culture," says Nghia Bui, co-owner of Hello Em.

Hello Em in Seattle is hoping to spread the word about Vietnamese coffee and culture.

Bui says one of their most popular drinks is the Vietnamese egg coffee or cà phê trứng, which is Vietnamese coffee with an egg crème on top.

Vietnamese coffee is made by shaking coffee with condensed milk. It is known for being very strong because of the Robusta beans used and also the amount of coffee grounds compared to the amount of water.
