The Spicy Lady has a lot to offer. With the surprising sweetness of Uncle Nearest 1884 whiskey, there is a definite twist when you add citrus and jalapeño. This is a drink that can go with any occasion and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser — even if you aren't a whiskey drinker.


  • Jalapeño
  • Uncle Nearest 1884 Whiskey
  • Lime
  • Agave
  • Salt
  • Grapefruit


  1. Rub a quarter lime on the rim of the glass
  2. Roll the glass in salt
  3. In a shaker, muddle 1 slice of jalapeño, add 2 oz. Uncle Nearest 1884 whiskey, .75 oz. lime juice, .5 oz. grapefruit juice and .5 oz. agave
  4. Add ice and shake
  5. Serve over ice
