Cocktail of the Week: Pecan Old Fashioned

Smokey!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz. Bourbon
  • 0.5 oz. Pecan Syrup
  • 3 Dashes Cinnamon Bitters

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Combine all ingredients in a beaker, add ice and stir until chilled.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass and place into a paper bag.
  3. Place a small pile of BBQ wood chips in a small bowl and light.
  4. Extinguish active flames but allow chips to continue smoking.
  5. Use a pair of tongs to place the wood chips into a paper bag.
  6. Roll the bag closed and let it sit for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Open the bag, remove wood chips and enjoy!
