Vino you want to: Attend the 35th annual Auction of Washington Wines

If you love wine and Washington and/or Washington wine, make sure to register for the 35th Annual Winemaker Picnic & Barrel Auction at Chateau Ste. Michelle on Friday, Aug. 12.

Winemakers from across the region will be roaming and pouring from their hearts and bottles at Friday's chic picnic. You'll find a staggering collection of 100+ local wines to sample at four tasting bars, along with delicious cuisine from talented chefs in the PNW.

See the full menu here.

Then get ready to place a bid to continue your wine journey throughout the year.

"The Barrel Auction is your chance to taste barrel samples and be one of five bidders to secure a case of future wine releases," the website explains.

While wine and food take center stage, you'll also be treated to music and entertainment throughout the dazzling evening.

The event is held Friday, Aug. 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. with some serious heavy-hitters in the local scene. Find tickets here.

That's not all!

The picnic and auction are sandwiched between a full three days of wine celebration.

Attend TOAST! on Thursday, Aug. 11 or the Gala on Aug. 13, both on the stunning grounds of Woodinville's Chateau Ste. Michelle.

TOAST! is a special evening to recognize winemakers with a lasting impact on the region. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Bob Betz for his contribution to the craft and his commitment to the Northwest. Read about Bob's achievements here.

The Gala is a glitzy affair and four-course meal, along with a live auction, live music and lively memories under the Woodinville stars.

"Proceeds benefit Washington State University Viticulture & Enology Research at the Wine Science Center in Richland, Seattle Children’s Tri-Cities Clinic, and Industry Grant Partner Vital Wines."
