The Bearfoot Bistro World Oyster Invitational & Bloody Caesar Battle. Thousands have been, few have won - but tales have spread far and wide nonetheless. The best oyster shuckers and mixologists from all over come to Whistler for the final day of Cornucopia, their food and drink festival, to compete. Oysters are shucked against the clock, and proceeds benefitted The Whistler Blackcomb Foundation which provides financial support to registered non-profit organizations whose activities benefit residents of the Sea to Sky Corridor in the areas of health, human services, education, recreation, arts and culture and the environment, with an emphasis on children, youth and family programs.
