Hey Adventure-Seekers, This is the Car for You

In the Pacific Northwest, there are countless adventures you can head out on. From the city to country, mountains to sound - the great outdoors are even GREATER up here.

But to get to all those places, you need a car that can handle anything. Never was this more evident than on a recent trip to Stevens Pass where we were covering a story on Captain Larry Roxby and his team of sled dogs! The pups were cute, the Captain hilarious - but the snow was no joke. We would not have been able to get there in anything other than Toyota's 2018 4Runner.

The 4Runner is a game-changer in the world of adventure-seekers. No matter what kind of escape you are looking for - it can definitely get you there. Offering 270 horsepower through the 4.0-liter V6 engine, this beast of an off-roader is perfect for camping, getting you to the base of your favorite hiking trail or - you know - going to visit some dogs!

As for the adventures of day-to-day life, the 2018 4Runner can face the winter roads, the stormy driving conditions and the intense winds that can threaten to ruin a commute. It has safety, comfort and strength in one fierce-looking package.

We've already mentioned the 4.0-liter V6 engine and 270 horsepower, but did we mention that the 2018 4Runner can tow up to 5,000 pounds? Want to take the family boating? Use a 2018 4Runner and tow that boat yourself. Want to go camping with the pals? Use a 2018 4Runner and haul your own equipment.

With a seating capacity of five, the 4Runner will help you take your family to the lake or travel to the coast for some beach time, hauling any equipment you may need.

Off-road capabilities
This 4X4 TRD Off-Road vehicle includes Toyota’s Crawl Control feature.

”[The Crawl Control feature] helps drivers maintain control when driving up, over or down obstacles. CRAWL regulates engine speed and braking force so the driver can focus on steering and not allotting the proper power for the obstacle," according to Toyota.

Each 4Runner comes prepared to protect the precious cargo it carries. Toyota's standard safety system is engineered to protect and defend against common safety challenges. Anti-lock Brake Systems, Brake Assist, Smart Technology and other features will help make every journey a safe one.

Have extra cargo that needs to be transported? The second row of seats in the 2018 4Runner can lay flat to provide more than 89 cubic feet of cargo area. Imagine what could be moved with that kind of space. "That friend with the truck" everyone wants when moving just got upgraded to "that friend with the 4Runner."

Plus, for those tailgating parties, camping outings and neighborhood functions, the 2018 4Runner has a pullout cargo deck that can support up to 440 pounds. Never has a seat for the drive-in been so perfect. All you have to do is slide the cargo deck out from the back of the vehicle and you have an immediate table space, seat or counter.
