Christina Arokiasamy has just written a new cook book called "The Malaysian Kitchen", which celebrates the cuisine of her home country, and she invited us into her home kitchen for a cooking lesson.
Arokiasamy grew up in Malaysia surrounded by food. Her family has been involved in the spice trade for generations and as a young girl, she used to help her mother prepare spices for sale.
While she gave us a ton of options for dishes to cook, we decided to dive into making empanadas - also known to as curry puffs. And they did not disappoint.
