Cocktail of the Week: Buzz Button Verbena

The Buzz Button Verbana is one of Queen Bee's most interesting drinks, originally found at the Chandelier Bar in the Cosmopolitan Hotel Las Vegas. It's a drink that makes your mouth go numb - yes, really - so it's NOT for the faint of heart.


  • 1.5 oz. Tequila
  • 1 oz. Ginger Syrup
  • Lime
  • Buzz Button Flower


  1. Add ice, tequila, ginger syrup (see the Whiskey Buck for our home-made ginger syrup recipe), juice of 1/2 lime, freshly squeezed.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Garnish with lime wheel and buzz button flower* (can be purchased through Amazon).
  4. Enjoy!

*To experience mouth-tingling and flavor changes, chew the flower for 10 seconds. You can then spit out or swallow the flower.
