Ok - you had a week off after finishing September's #SRBookClub read 'Eligible' - but now it's time to get reading again!

This month, we're reading "Today Will Be Different" by local author Maria Semple, who you might know from her bestseller released last year, "Where'd You Go Bernadette?"

'Bernadette' was a huge hit nationally, and even more so with locals since it was set right here in Seattle....and so is "Today Will Be Different".

The book is about a woman who wakes up one morning and decides she's going to change her life. She's going to get her kid to school on time, communicate better with her husband, finally meet up with an old friend....

But I'm sure you can imagine; life gets in the way and chaos ensues.

"She's dashing all around Seattle, and it's really fun to see all the landmarks around the city," said Richael Best with Elliott Bay Book Company. "It's really fun read and really makes you think about how we get through the day and the choices that we make and we intend to make and that we can follow through on in our lives."

So get to reading folks! You can pick up the book at Elliott Bay Book Company or your bookstore of preference, and make sure to watch our social media channels for updates, page goals, discussion. If you're like me, you like to talk about what you're reading, when you're reading - and while I promise I won't pop into your living room to chat, use #SRBookClub on the Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to chat along with us!
