Private garden, courtyard & waterfall - this Madison Park home has it all

We love the Modern Home Tour! This home, designed by AW Architecture | Interior Design, is located in the Madison Park Neighborhood. At the core of the home, is a courtyard in the center that invites bright light and a private and outdoor space for entertaining. While the home is open to natural light, it still maintains its privacy with a beautiful landscape and a waterfall to create "a tangible calmness in the home." Who doesn't need a little tangible calmness in their home?

With this in mind, the concept of the home was developed further. Design strategies were taking advantage of the orientation, day lighting, natural cross ventilation, floor to ceiling glass openings, and solar energy to maintain a comfortable temperature range.

The home has three levels. On the main level, there is a reviving area that connects with the living room, an open kitchen, and dining area. The master suite is also on the main level with a private garden on the rear. From the master bathroom, there is a view of a near by pond, which has a sculpture from an artist. Not including the master bedroom, there are two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom on the upper level.

Happy Modern Home Tour!
