Heard of the 'GurglePot'? Turns out, the creator is from Sumner WA

The story of the GurglePot starts in a small French town. There's where Sumner's Matt Ellison was sitting down to home cooked meals that lasted for hours. The only problem - Matt and his hosts couldn't communicate. They spoke French, and Matt spoke English.... making for some very awkward exchanges. The one bright spot was an antique fish-shaped pitcher that made a funny "gurgling" sound when liquid was poured.

Back in the states, Matt designed his own "GurglePot" and along with his family, he's created a booming business, all based on an uncomfortable situation and a delightfully funny sound.
