Why you should keep your eyes on the Space Needle this evening

If your date night is taking to you to Belltown, Queen Anne, or really anywhere that you can see the Space Needle, you'll want to keep your eyes peeled!

Facing the Northwest legs of the tower (International Fountain/KeyArena), the Needle will be lit up with messages from lovebirds around the area starting at 6 p.m. and running until 10 p.m.!

Couples could choose a time slot for their message to appear, and were available at a first come first serve basis. There will be a maximum of 800 messages submitted, and each note is restricted to 40 characters.

It's for a good cause too! For a $100 donation to the American Heart Association, donors’ laser-created love notes will be projected onto the Space Needle. All proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association.

So keep your eyes up if you want to see some sweet love messages. Happy Valentine's Day, folks!
