12s! It's important to cheer EXTRA loud at the Seahawks playoff game

As history has shown, the Seattle Seahawks’ fans really know how to create a rumble. Seriously – we’re talking Richter scale proportions.

In preparation of Saturday’s Wild Card Game against the Detroit Lions, UW Seismologists with the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network will be monitoring ground vibrations generated by the earthquake creators themselves - the fans.

The seismologists have already installed new equipment that will monitor ground vibrations and report in real-time. All they need for a successful experiment is some rowdy fans to make earthquake and football history. If you are so lucky to be going to this game – please make it happen.
