Welcome to the Weekend Report - where we tell you what's up in Seattle this weekend, the things you definitely don't want to miss. Why should we have all the fun at these events? Most of the things we are previewing here, we will be at - so if you see us say hi! We're guaranteed to miss some, so definitely email us if there is something wonderful we need to know about.

Strange Brewfest. Enjoy beer in odd flavors from dozens of breweries and watch live music and entertainment at Strange Brewfest at American Legion Hall in Port Townsend. This event runs both Friday and Saturday.

Keep It Surreal. A $100 ticket to Keep It Surreal gets you a multi-course creative dinner with wine pairings, followed by a small auction to support the arts, and a dessert dash at Cafe Nordo!

Northwest Remodeling Expo. Looking to build your dream home? The NW remodeling expo will run from Friday to Sunday and will help with with those ideas! Hear from speakers and shop tons of vendors at the Washington State Convention Center.

Saturday, January 25

Lake Chelan Winterfest. Running through January 17th through the 26, Lake Chelan Winterfest is back! "Nestled among the snow-capped hilltops and glacier fed waters of Lake Chelan, Winterfest is the perfect escape to a Washington winter wonderland. Join us for win and ale tastings, horse-drawn carriages, intricate ice sculptures, live music, activities for kids, a massive beach bonfire, spectacular fireworks show and much more!"

Seattle Boat Show. The Seattle Boat Show promises 1,000 boats and watercraft on display plus 250 boating seminars and is at CenturyLink Field, with a free shuttle to boats in the water at South Lake Union. Children age 17 and younger are free! The boat show runs through February 1.

Onesie Pub Crawl. Break out that onesie - it's time for a pub crawl! "From the folks behind SantaCon, BunnyCon, and Halloween Pub Crawl: we're bar hopping in onesies for 14 hours! Join us anytime for your wristband! There's live entertainment throughout, no cover charges, drink specials, professional photographers, and a costume contest with cash prizes!" Snow Queen. Take the whole family out for an amazing concert! "Adapted from the same acclaimed fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson that inspired Disney’s beloved movie Frozen, this is the enchanting story of how Gerda sets out on a magical journey to find her friend who has fallen under the Snow Queen’s icy spell. Narrated by Classical KING-FM 98.1’s Marta Zekan with original music by Adam Stern performed by the St. Helens String Quartet."

Belgian Fest. "The Washington Beer Commission’s 11th Annual Belgian Fest will take place at Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion highlighting Belgian-style beers crafted by Washington breweries. Featured beer styles include Tripels, Dubbels, Saisons, Wits, Abbeys and Lambics. In keeping with this unique style, all of the beers are brewed with Belgian yeast."

Sunday, January 26

Ursulmas Medieval Faire. Watch tournaments and competitions, try your hand at archery and thrown weapons during open hours, play games, and shop from artisans at the quirky Ursulmas Medieval Faire at Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe. This event runs all weekend!

The Brunch Show. "Can Can Culinary Cabaret! Seattle’s very own world class theatre is proud to announce its FAMILY-FRIENDLY Brunch Show! Peacock. Another one from Can Can Cabaret but this is an evening show! "In our all-new show Peacock follow Pierre, a junior concierge and protégé of Jean, the emcee and impresario of Peacock, a famous Parisian nightclub of the 1920s. Competition for the spotlight quickly ensues as Pierre gains confidence, adoring fans, and lusted lovers. Who will rule in this struggle for fame, celebrity, and reign of the Peacock roost?"
