Watershed Music Festival 2020 has been cancelled

Following suit with many other large summer events, the Watershed Music Festival in George, WA - has been cancelled.

The country music festival, set to take place July 31 through August 2, 2020, draws thousands of PNW country fans each year to the Gorge Amphitheater.

The announcement was made on the festival's social media accounts Friday morning (May 29), and simultaneously announced the 2021 festival dates as July 30 - August 1, 2021.

"The lineup will remain mostly intact with a NEW HEADLINER joining the party: Tim McGraw!" said the post.

Country music stars Dierks Bentley and Thomas Rhett were set to headline the 2020 festival, and seem to be on track to return next summer.

While all 2020 festival purchases will be honored for Watershed 2021, refunds are also being made available.

"We know how much the location of your campsite and festival passes mean to you but we also know that you may need the money back now instead," the post reads.

Current pass holders can request a full refund from the (instructions to be mailed out May 29), or do nothing and the pass will hold for the 2021 date. This applies to both camping and festival passes. More info on refunds can be found online.
