Washington's brightest young stars LIT up at the stage at the 16th Annual 5th Avenue Awards.
It's the event of the year for honoring high school musical theater. The evening was full of singing, dancing and drama - infused with a dose of teen spirit!
About 2,000 high-schoolers, many in colorful costumes, were there for the awards. Some even got to perform part of their high school's entry.
Seattle Refined's Guest Correspondent (and former high school thespian himself) Owen Leopold caught up with some of these talented kids.
All in all, twenty high schools received awards across 21 categories. Top honors went to Tahoma High School with the award for Outstanding Musical Production for their production of "Tarzan The Stage Musical".
