Listen, I know millennials get a bad rap but, at the end of the day, we are all just trying to figure this thing called life out!
According to a study by Wallethub, some states are better at helping us millennials figure everything out - and here's what they came up with.
In order to figure out which state was best for millennials, analytic experts decided they needed to take a look at a few things. Factors included number of millennials living with their parents, the actual number of millennials in each place, average monthly earnings for millennials, unemployment rate and the number of insured millennials.
And how did Washington stack up? In third place, baby! Here are the numbers for millennials living and working in Washington (1=Best; 25=Average).
- 13th – % of Millennials Living with Parents
- 12th – % of Millennials
- 3rd – Average Monthly Earnings for Millennials
- 22nd – Millennial Unemployment Rate
- 20th – % of Insured Millennials
Aside from copping third place for the state with the highest average earnings for millennials, here is where Washington stands among the top ten of the final list:
- District of Columbia
