Google Glass - by now you have seen it or at least heard about the futuristic eye wear by Google.
Glass is making its way into mainstream life for many people around the world. It can give you directions, find you a place for dinner or take a picture of what's in front of you.
One of the biggest hang ups to trying or purchasing Glass has been availability and affordability. In 2013, Google released a limited quantity of Explorer edition Glass to people interested in paying $1500 for the wearable computer. This year, Google released a consumer version which is reportedly cheaper than the Explorer version.
Curious and skeptics alike can try Glass this weekend through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Sodo Park, 3200 First Ave S. You must RSVP through http://seattlethroughglass.splashthat.com/.
