Christmas Lighting Festival. If Leavenworth is not the most festive place to be during the holidays than I don't know what is! Head east "for the most wonderful time of the year, when our quaint Bavarian town becomes a Village of Lights (over half a million of them!) and holiday cheer abounds! On Friday evenings the lights are all on! Live musical performances of your favorite Christmas songs fill the streets, St. Nickolaus arrives at 4:30 pm at the Front Street Gazebo, who welcomes children young and old with the story of his legacy and “gold” for the good boys and girls! On Saturdays and Sundays, the festivities kick into full gear at 12:00pm with the arrival of Santa and costumed holiday characters in a march from the Festhalle to the Gazebo!" You can get to this lighting festival for the next three weekends.
Tea in the Fireside Room. Holiday Tea in the Fireside Room. Head on over to Hotel Sorrento to enjoy holiday tea in the fireside room! "Expect to be welcomed into our 110-year old hotel with an ethereal tea service: enjoy savory tea sandwiches, alluring treats and cakes, and choice of locally-sourced tea from Market Spice in Pike Place Market." You can also indulge in some "adult tea."
