Welcome to the Weekend Report - where we tell you what's up in Seattle this weekend, the things you definitely don't want to miss. Why should we have all the fun at these events? Friday, November 9

Hollywood & Vine. Enjoy an aerial and acrobatic show at Teatro ZinZanni as you stuff your face with a five-course meal. This show will run through late April.

Wine, Women & Shoes. This event is a Carrie Bradshaw dream with all things shoes, wine, food tasting, a silent auction, boutique market place, best-in-shoe competition, fashion show and a "crowd of charming shoe guys!"

Whisky Extravaganza. This event dedicated to whisky has over 100 whisky tastings, culinary pairings and master classes.

Newport Ski Swap. Ski season is right around the corner, faaaaam! This huge consignment sale includes ski, snowboards, and snowshoes. This event runs all weekend.

Best of Northwest Art & Fine Craft Show.
This event will has over 100 artists that will be displaying jewelry, clothing, paintings, glass art, and of course - FOOD TRUCKS. This event runs all weekend.

Saturday, November 10

The Big Lebrewski Winter Beer Taste. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the cult classic film "The Big Lebowski" The Phinney Center will be celebrating with 75+ winter ales, special brews, and ciders from over 35 of your favorite local microbreweries.

Hope for Housing. Enjoy this wine tasting in Renton where you can samples wines and eat "sumptuous appetizers and desserts." There will also be live music with a silent auction for charity. Proceeds go to St. Stephen Housing Association that helps provide housing and support services for homeless families with children in South King County.

South Sound Winter Beer Festival. Head south to the Tacoma Dome for the South Sound Winter Beer Festival! Enjoy winter beers from over 34 local breweries.

Seattle Slack Key Festival. Escape the cold at this Hawaiian music festival! This event will feature Hawaiian musicians, tropical flowers, food and crafts.
