There is a themed exhibit called "Scared to Death: The Thrill of Horror Film" which dives into the wonderful world of horror films. There is also a costume contest, this year the four themes being: scariest, most creative, couples, and wild card. This event is 21+

New Orleans Food & Funk Festival. Two words for you: Creole Food. Get yourself some gumbo, crawfish, shrimp, grits, po' boys, beignets, and hush puppies at this years New Orleans Food & Funk Festival. Along with the food there will be funk music, so it's going to be maybe the best Friday night you've ever seen.

End of Summer Bash at the Hollywood Tavern. This Woodinville restaurant is celebrating their 70th anniversary with a party that will help Washingtonians transition from summer to fall. Lord knows we need it! The End of Summer Bash is a family-friendly day with music, food, and all of the fun.

Great Pumpkin Beer Festival. Elysian's Great Pumpkin Beer Festival will run through Saturday at the Seattle Center! There will be over 80 different flavors of Pumpkin beer from Elysian and other breweries far and wide. They also made a giant pumpkin keg.. It's legit.
