SeaJAM Festival. This arts & culture festival that brings rarely seen Jewish and Israeli talent to the Pacific Northwest. The 2019 SeaJAM will take place September 13 – 15, 2019. The centerpiece of the festival is An Evening with Debra Messing on September 14 at Benaroya Hall. Messing will discuss her work in TV, film and theater, her advocacy work as a global health ambassador focusing on HIV/AIDS and being a positive example for Jewish women and moms on-screen and off. SeaJAM will also feature a conversation and brunch with chef Joel Gamoran, a Seattle native, Sur La Table’s national chef, host of A&E’s hit series Scraps and an activist in the no-waste food movement.

Boats Afloat Show. All aboard the Boats Afloat Show! Running the entire weekend, this boat sale includes cabin cruisers, sailboats, ski boats and yachts!

West Seattle Wine Walk. Head on over to West Seattle for the Wine Walk in the Alaska Junction. A ticket to this event gets you a glass and 10 tastes of wine as well as light snacks in shops along the junction

SketchFest Seattle. On both Friday and Saturday, SketchFest Seattle will feature live comedy by Seattle comedians and out-of-town guests at Unexpected Productions in Pike Place Market!

SEAchanger. In partnership with Mary’s Place and Wellspring Family Services, Starbucks, KEXP and Friends of the Waterfront will present SEAchanger, a waterfront concert to raise awareness and support for the hundreds of unsheltered families in King County. The concert will take place at 4 pm at Myrtle Edwards Park in Seattle. 100% of all ticket sales will benefit responsible service providers like Mary’s Place and Wellspring Family Services.

The Great Wallingford Wurst Fest. Get ready for a month full of Oktoberfest events! The Great Wallingford Wurst Fest is a neighborhood event with tons of food, beer, games and entertainment. This event runs on both Friday and Saturday.

Puget Sound Bird Fest. Get out and enjoy some of the last days of warmer weather at the Puget Sound Bird Fest. This festival runs from Friday to Sunday and includes guided bird walks, speakers, exhibits, and family-friendly activities at the Edmonds Library.

Grilled Cheese Grand Prix. This might just be the best event of the year? The Grilled Cheese Grand Prix allows you to sample some adult beverages and eat grilled cheese/other cheese-y bites, simple as that.

The Pancakes & Booze Art Show. This traveling exhibition features a healthy dose of free pancakes, over 50 artists showcasing their work, booze, and live body painting! Come hungry, thirsty, and ready to check out some awesome art.

Chinatown-International District Night Market. This Asian inspired night street market will have food vendors, a beer garden, an international market, live music and an all-ages dance party at the Chinatown Gate!

Run the Mountain. Enroll in "Run the Mountain" for a 5K, 10K, 25K that is “a picturesque morning run through the tall trees of Squak Mountain State Park” in Issaquah to support youth in foster care. It of course includes post-run pizza, beer, and soft drinks.
