Friday, August 31

Bumbershoot Music Festival. Bumbershoot is back! Thank goodness there is a weekend of fun planned to take away from the sadness that summer is almost over. Bumbershoot will run all weekend, Aug. 31 - September 2, with a fabulous musical, comedy and food line up. Headliners include The Chainsmokers, Lil Wayne, RL Grime, J. Cole, Fleet Foxes, Portugal. The Man and MORE! There are single day and 3-day passes available for purchase.

PAX West. PAX West is another end of summer staple around these neck of the woods. PAX is a video gamers paradise where ticket goers can play video games and see tons of fun costumes. This event also runs all weekend!

Night of Board Gaming on Top of the World. Tickets to this event include a buffet dinner, two $10 vouchers for the game store and all of the games you could ever imagine to play! All of this is going down while you soak up the views from the 76th floor of the Columbia Tower.

Ski Bonkers. I guess it's time to start thinking about your favorite snow sports! Ski Bonkers is an event in Bellevue where you can purchase new skis, snowboards and all the accessories you need for ~shreddin' some gnar.~ This event will run Friday-Monday.

Saturday, September 1

Bremerton Blackberry Festival. The Blackberry Festival will be on the Bremerton waterfront where you can shop local art, jewelry, fair food and blackerry pie. This festival runs all weekend and will have a Berry Fun Run on Saturday.

Ellensburg Rodeo. It's a weekend packed with annual events! Make the drive east to Ellensburg for the rodeo. Ellensburg Rodeo is Washington's biggest rodeo with live music, a carnival and the Kittitas County Fair.

Washington State Fair. The Washington State fair is starting this weekend and will have farm animals, rides, a rodeo, food and entertainment. This fair is the largest, oldest and most popular fair in the state.

Sunday, September 2

Staycation Silent Disco. Head on over to Cap Hill for a three day silent disco party! Integral DJs are following up with their CHBP performance with this bangin' silent disco, ya'll. Only 100 headsets are available so you have to reserve in advance.
