Bachelor Casting Call. Yes, we know Thursday isn't technically the weekend but we couldn't resist adding this shameless plug...THE BACHELOR CASTING CALL. Come one, come all - this is your chance to audition for our favorite franchise TV show, The Bachelor/Bachelorette. Not only can you try out to find love, but there will be drink tickets, discounted shopping in selected stores, and a Bachelor Trivia hosted by *yours truly*. The event starts at 3p at Pacific Place.

Friday, July 21

Bite of Seattle. Here is another one of our favorite events of the year! The Bite runs all weekend long, with 60 different participating Seattle restaurants/eateries. Along with all of the foods, there will be cooking demos, wine tasting, a beer garden and entertainment at Seattle Center. Capitol Hill Block Party. Happy CHBP! The three-day music festival features 90 bands, DJs, craft booths, and food trucks! Headliners include Diplo, Run the Jewels, Lord Huron, Jai Wolf, Snakehips, and muuuch more! For more information on ticket pricing and headliners, click here.

Sequim Lavender Festival. In the mood to get out of the city? Head to Sequim via the Bainbridge Island ferry! Tour lavender farms and visit the fair where there will be crafts, food, beer, wine, and music!

Summer Beer Taste. Sometimes you just need to go beer tasting, you know? Summer Beer Taste in Phinney Ridge will have micro brews, pub food, and music. The three best things in life, beer, food, and music!

Alki Art Fair. Both on Saturday and Sunday, The Alki Art Fair is in it's 20th year! The fair, located on the promenade of Alki Beach, will showcase 90+ artists and 40+ musical artists of all genres.

Vashon Island Strawberry Festival. Strawberry Fields Foreeeeeever. You didn't seriously think I would get through this without using that reference, right?! This festival has a parade, music, a car parade, carnival rides, a beer garden, and 200 vendors. There is also a shuttle service from the ferry for $1. This festival runs all weekend.

Seattle Chocolate Salon. Time to get that winter bod ready...this event is DEDICATED to chocolate. It doesn't get much better than that. Taste artisan and gourmet chocolates, and watch chocolate demonstrations.

Chinatown Seafair Parade. This annual Seafair event will feature a parade with lion and dragon dances, the Seattle Chinese Girls Drill team and much more!
