Welcome to the Weekend Report - where we tell you what's up in Seattle this weekend, the things you definitely don't want to miss. Why should we have all the fun at these events? Most of the things we are previewing here, we will be at - so if you see us say hi! We're guaranteed to miss some, so definitely email us if there is something wonderful we need to know about!

Friday, July 19

Lakefair. This carnival in Olympia is hosted at Capital Lake and includes carnival rides, food booths sand entertainment every day. There will be a car show on Friday at 5:30 p.m., a parade on Saturday at 5 p.m. and fireworks on Sunday at 10:30 p.m. This event runs all weekend.

Bremerton Summer Brewfest. Grab a ferry over to Bremerton and take the walk to the Bremerton Summer Brewfest! There will be over 30 Washington breweries, food vendors and live music! This event will run on both Friday and Saturday.

Bite of Seattle. Running from Friday to Sunday, The Bite of Seattle is back and better than ever! Come hungry because there will be over 200 vendors, cooking demos, a beer and spirits garden, and live music.

Capitol Hill Block Party. CHBP! It's back baby! This year's lineup is incredible with acts like Snakehips, Lizzo, Jungle, Phantogram, RL Grime and so much more! Click here to check out the line up. There are musical acts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with day passes and three day passes.

Seafair Indian Days PowWow. This Seafair event includes competitive dancing, drumming, native dress, native art for sale, food booths, and a daily salmon bake outdoors at Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center in Discovery Park. This event runs all weekend.

Saturday, July 20

White Center Jubilee Days. Another weekend-long event for ya! White Center Jubilee Days has a carnival every day, a pub crawl on Friday evening, a car show and a street fair on Saturday followed by a parade at and a parade 11 a.m. on Sunday.

Sammamish Valley Celebration of Farms And the Arts. Spend a weekend on the farm! "Visit farms and businesses to enjoy food and farm demonstrations; take a class; chat with a farmer; enjoy farm inspired art. You’ll find a variety of activities that celebrate summer: learn about local farms; sample freshly pressed apple cider; taste farm-fresh food and local wine; dig in some soil and take a walk in a peaceful farm field." This event also runs all weekend.

Sequim Lavender Festival. Stroll through Lavender farms while enjoying a street fair, crafts, food, beer and wine, live music and some Lavender ice cream! This event runs Friday through Sunday.

West Seattle Grand Parade. The West Seattle Grand Parade will run along California Avenue SW from Lander Street to Edmunds Street and will feature pirates, clowns, marching bands, drill teams, floats and pageantry. There will also be a PAWrade of pets that starts at Genesee Street and goes towards Edmunds Street.

Olde Burien Block Party. This block party in Burien will have live music, beer gardens and tons of food at SW 152nd Street.

Federal Way Rythym & Blues Festival. Enjoy this live music and beer festival with over 20 local breweries, wineries, and distilleries, plus three local bands, and some BBQ for sale!

Bon Odori Festival.
Celebrate Japanese culture at the Bon Odori Festival that is running on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be traditional dancing, Taiko drumming, martial arts, and Japanese food and crafts at the Seattle Buddhist Temple.

Vashon Island Stawberry Festival. On both Saturday and Sunday, the Vashon Island Strawberry festival will have a parade, a street dance, a car parade, live music, carnival rides, a beer garden and over 200 vendors. There will be a shuttle from the Vashon ferry terminal to the festival itself for just $2.

Sunday, July 21

Chinatown Seafair Parade. Another fun Seafair event for ya! The Chinatown Seafair parade features lions, dragon dances, martial arts and the Chinese Girls Drill Team in the International District.

Walk for Old Dogs. Come out and celebrate and support older dogs that need foster care with a 1/3 miles walk at Cromwell Park in Shoreline. There will be prizes for the dog dressed up in the best costume and his tricks!

Parkadilly. Bring the kiddos to this fun family event! Parkadilly features high-energy concerts for children, a petting zoo,arts & crafts projects, kid-focused vendors, and food trucks at Lake Sammamish State Park.
