Seattle Night Ride. This 15 mile bike ride starts at Peddler Brewing and follows bike trails to Myrtle Edwards Park for snacks and then loops back to finish the party where it began. There will be food trucks, beer, and games. Age requirement is 18+ and helmets, headlights, tail lights, and a red rear reflector are required.

Seattle International Beer Festival. This three day beer festival is one for the books! The 17 year tradition will be happening all weekend with over 200 world class beers to sample! Regular entry includes 10 beer tickets, a glass, and a wristband free re-entry. The Big Deal option includes 30 beer tickets, glass, and wristband free re-entry.

Redmond Art Festival. Get your art fix with the Redmond Art Festival! There will be 70 booths, food trucks, live music and sidewalk chalk. If the art isn't enough to get you there, there will be a wine, beer, and mimosa bar! This event will run all weekend.

International Bubble Flash Mob. Everyone loves a flash mob right? But this flash mob is a flash mob of bubbles! The location is still uncertain, but you can check the website at noon for a location, bring bubbles, look natural, and then start blowing bubbles at exactly 1p.

Proof: Washington Distillers Festival. If you are less of a beer guy and more of a spirits guy, head to this distillery festival! A ticket into the festival gets you ten tasting tokens to try gin, whiskey, bourbon, and vodka from 40 different Washington distilleries. There will also be appetizers!

Seattle Seafair Pirates. Arrrrggghh. Pirates are making their traditional landing on Alki Beach this weekend! Watch the pirates disembark their vessels, visit vendors, enjoy inflatable rides, and a pirate costume contest.

Sunday, July 9
Ballard Seafood Fest. Head on down to Ballard to get your seafood fix this weekend! There will, obviously, be seafood, a lutefisk-eating contest, music, art, and beer! This event will run all weekend.

Japan Fair. If you are interested in Japanese culture, this event will feature Japanese art, food, vendors, entertainment, and Taiko drumming!

The Locks Centennial Boat Parade. Happy 100th birthday Ballard Locks! This boat parade will feature 50 boats that went through the Ballard locks when it opened 100 years ago! You can watch them pass through the locks or afterwards at Lake Union Park.

Wedgewood Art Festival. This smaller arts festival will feature local artists, music, food, and a family show. This event will run all weekend!
