Welcome to the Weekend Report - where we tell you what's up in Seattle this weekend, the things you definitely don't want to miss. Why should we have all the fun at these events? Most of the things we are previewing here, we will be at - so if you see us say hi! Wicked Musical. The massive Broadway hit is in Seattle from June 12-July 7. There are tickets available on STGPresents website and they are also offering a lottery system as well for discounted tickets daily.

Paradiso Music Festival. The sweatiest weekend of the year is HERE! And when I say sweatiest I obviously mean the most fun, rave-iest weekend of all time. The electronic dance festival is back with headliners like Zhu, Zeds Dead, Whethan, What So Not and soooo much more. Tickets from Paradiso's website are sold out but try third party ticket systems like Stub Hub or Vivid Seats. The festival runs all weekend long.

Bell Harbor Classic Weekend. Bring your pops down to the Bell Harbor Classic Weekend where you can watch classic boats parade along the waterfront and then tour boats on Saturday and Sunday! There will be voting for favorite boats, obviously. This event will run through Sunday the 16th.

Washington Brewers Festival. This beer festival in Redmond runs from Friday to Sunday and will offer 500 beers from Washington breweries, wine, cider and food trucks. There will be live music and a kids area at Marymoor Park!

Edmonds Art Festival. The Edmonds Art Festival is back! Enjoy paintings, photos, sculptures, jewelry and more displayed by local artists. There will be entertainment, food, booze and tons of activities for the whole family. This festival is ALSO running all weekend so be sure to check it out at least one of the days, okay?!

Saturday, June 15

Marysville Strawberry Festival. Head north for the Marysville Strawberry Festival! There will be carnival rides and events, vendors, soooo much strawberry shortcake, a car show on Saturday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., a kiddo's parade on Saturday at 6:15 p.m. and a grand parade on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. This one also runs all weekend! It's like it's almost summer or something.

Meeker Days Festival. This Puyallup street fair has live country, rock and blues music, a food court, craft booths, a car show and events for the kiddos! This event runs Friday through Sunday.

Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival. This Bluegrass festival in Cashmere has concerts, vendors, workshops and if you feel so inclined - camping at the Chelan County Expo Center in Cashmere. Musical acts include Mile Twelve, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Ned Crisp & Bottomline and more.

Seattle Urban-X. Seattle Urban-x is described as "Seattle's Great Scavenger Race." This race is a team adventure that includes five miles of both mental and physical challenges. The race starts in Pioneer Square and teams of three or four are suggested.

Festival Sundiata. Explore and experience the cultural roots and contemporary influences of African-American culture through live performances, hands-on activities, food, fashion and worldly gifts. You can participate in African dance workshops as well as traditional drumming workshops.

Washington State Summer Con. Formerly known as the Washington State Toy and Geek Fest, the Washington State Summer Con will have vintage toys, comic books, video games, movie characters, celebs, vendors, discussion panels, interactive displays, cosplay, tons of food, and a beer garden at the Washington State Fair Events Center in Puyallup. This event runs both on Saturday and Sunday.

The Brunch Show. If a brunch cabaret doesn't sounds like the most amazing event of all time then I don't know what is. The Brunch show is a one hour show with upbeat dance performances, plenty glitz and high kicks. Food and drinks are optional but are not included.

Father's Day Round Up. Happy Father's Day to our dear ole dads out there! We love you guys. We have rounded up a bunch of happening around the area, make sure to take a visit if you are feeling uninspired.

From Beethoven to Beyonce. Head on down to Benaroya Hall where the Seattle symphony plays music from artists like Adele, Lady Gaga, Muse, and Chance the Rapper while interwoven with classical music by Bach, Brahms, Stravinsky and Wagner. How cool does that sound?

7th Annual Black Hills Triathlon & Duathlon. The Black Hills Sprint Triathlon is the premiere sprint distance triathlon in the Pacific Northwest. The venue is Long Lake Park adjacent to the Thurston County Fairgrounds. The swim is in the flat, calm waters of Long Lake, followed by an all right-hand turn, 12-mile bike course. The run is a flat 5K with beautiful lake views. Enjoy your favorite rock music, participant t-shirts and a one-of-a-kind finisher’s medal, in addition to great swag, refreshments, rock music and a top-notch USAT Sanctioned Race course.
