Chef's Table Experience. The Embassy Suites is hosting a four-course dinner that is curated by Chef Matt Heikkila with a hand-selected wine pairing. Menu items include oysters, grilled asparagus, pan seared halibut and sous vide lamb loin.

Sasquatch. Prepare yourself for SASSY! We will also be out at Sasquatch this weekend, so come say hi! The festival starts on Friday and runs through Memorial Day. Headliners include Bon Iver, The National, Modest Mouse, David Byrne, and MUCH more.

Northwest Folklife Festival. Folklife is back! There are hundreds of dance and musical performances, workshops, and panels from all over the ~world~.

Tankfest NW. This fun family event will have tanks, military vehicles, and artillery with food trucks and family activities. There will also be military vehicle demonstrations, remote control tanks and a scavenger hunt.

Street Scramble Gig Harbor. Take the whole fam to a scavenger hunt! Each Scavenger Hunt participant gets a map that takes them to dozens of checkpoints and the goal is to find all the check points under the time limit. There will also be an award ceremony at Donkey Creek Park.

Sunday, May 27

Bellingham Ski to Sea. As a Bellinghamer myself, I can tell you that this event is definitely one you want to put on the books! The Ski to Sea is a race with several different legs like canoe, kayak, biking and more. At the end of the race there is a festival in downtown Fairhaven with food trucks, live music, and tons of vendors. It's too much fun, ya'll.

Classic Workboat Show. This boating event will feature tours of classic and modern working boats (tugboats, fishing boats, research vessels, and ex-military vessels), engine demonstrations, food trucks, and a floating beer garden at Lake Union Park. This event runs on both May 26 & 27.

Memorial Day Ceremony. Head over to the Museum of Flight to honor our military with music from the Boeing Employee Concert Band followed by a special ceremony commemorating fallen US Service Members.
