Friday, May 18

Bike Everywhere Day. Hop on that bike folks! Thousands of people will ditch their cars and bring that bike out for the summer. Hundreds of local businesses and organizations will be setting up stations around the city where participants can get coffee, treats, and some ~swag~.

Ballard Jazz Festival. The Ballard Jazz Festival will be running all weekend long and will showcase world-class musicians every day! Friday will have a mainstage concert, a picnic on Saturday afternoon and a jazz walk at ten venues on Sunday.

Seattle International Film Festival. SIFF started last night with their opening film and partaaaay! SIFF is known as the largest film festival in the U.S. with top directors, actors, and critics. Seattle Beer Week. Seattle Beer Week is coming to a close. Waaaah! Saturday and Sunday are the last days to get into it, folks. Bars and breweries in the Seattle area will have dozens of beer-tasting and food-pairing events. Check out the schedule here!

Everfree Northwest. You can catch us out at the My Little Pony convention this weekend! There will be tons of colorful toy ponies, parties, games, activities, meals, a concert, a Grand Galloping Gala, vendors, at the Double Tree Hotel Seattle Airport.

Viking Fest. Head over to Poulsbo to celebrate Scandinavian Heritage! There will be a parade, carnival, music, food, and some fun and friendly competitions. This event will run all weekend long.

University Street Fair. Celebrate the nation's longest-running street fair in the U-District this weekend! What began as a simple community event in 1970 has blossomed into the University District StreetFair, a thrilling free, two-day festival with hundreds of vendors, artists, and performers. And beyond the fun, this event and its legacy have a more profound meaning that’s especially powerful today. This event runs all weekend so getcha booties up to the U-District!

Bothell Block Party & BrewFest. Beers and block parties? YUP. BBP&BF (I just made that up) will have local beer, food trucks, and live music! The music line up includes Sisters, Smokey Brights, Ruler, Black Stax, Eclectic Approach and I Will Keep Your Ghost.

Petpalooza. Bring your little floofy guy to Petpalooza in Auburn! Make sure your dog is on a leash for a run, pet contests, pony rides, flying dogs, racing pigs, roving reptiles, and vendors.
