SIFF. The Seattle International Film Festival starts today and runs through June 11! Check out different ticket options and pricing here.

Rainier Independent Film Festival. As it is the time of year for film festivals, this independent festival runs all weekend long and is a "gateway to an explorative cinematic journey, set in the trans-formative landscape of Mt. Rainier's forested community." If you are looking for something a bit more intimate than SIFF, this is the money.

Saturday, May 20

Salsa Dance Party. We just learned how to salsa dance earlier this week so we decided to throw this fun event into our report! If you love to dance, this event will get your groove on. This event features Mambo Cadillac playing "irresistibly dance-able high-octane salsa, Latin jazz, and Afro-Cuban rythyms" with a 30 minute salsa lesson that follows!

Bothell Block Party & Brew Fest. This Bothell Block Party, put on by UW Bothell, will allow you to sample beer from local breweries, eat from food trucks, and hear live music in the Bothell Furniture parking lot. For 21+.

Edmonds Jazz Connection. In the mood for some jazz? Head to Edmonds for this jazz festival that is put on by top student musicians at three different venues!
