Party on the Cut. The celebrations for opening day are staaaarting! This party up at the University of Washington will have live music, food trucks, a beer garden and lawn games on the Montlake Cut.

Bacon and Beer Classic. Ooooh yeeeessss. The Bacon and Beer Classic will have craft beer, bacon-inspired tastes from local restaurants, live music and games at T-Mobile Park.

The Kentucky Derby Party. It's time to don your very best HATS! Watch horses race, listen to live music and join in the derby hat contest while browsing vendor booths and joining in a silent auction at the Kentucky Derby Party in Bellevue.

Lacey S.T.E.M. Fair. This year's theme at the Lacey S.T.E.M. Fair is "May the Fourth Be With You.” Learn how to build robots, get hands on with 3-D printing and keep an eye out for droids. The free event will showcase school clubs, hobbyists, and businesses from all over Thurston County and beyond sharing all kinds of S.T.E.M. related projects, demonstrations and activities that will captivate all ages.

Northwest Green Home Tour. This Green Home Tour is happening on both Saturday and Sunday and is a self-guided tour through solar-powered, energy-efficient and sustainable homes. There are no tickets but donations are suggested.

Tacoma City Marathon. The Tacoma City Marathon makes a roundtrip over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. There is both a marathon and a half marathon on Sunday and 5K races on Saturday. All events begin and end at Point Ruston.

Seattle Bike-n-Brews. Enjoy a "fairly flat" 27-mile ride from Georgetown to Tukwila with a beer point half way through and lunch at the finish line. Sounds like a grand ole time.
