Kirkland Wine Walk. Head on over to the East side for the Kirkland Wine Walk! Sip of local wine as you stroll from shop to shop, starting at the Heathman Hotel in Kirkland.

Master Gardener Plant Sale. Calling all folks with a green thumb! Search through a huge selection of "plants, veggie starts, herbs & tomatoes, perennials & grasses, native & ornamental shrubs and trees." You can also mix and mingle with plant experts to answer all your burning questions. This event also runs on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Emerald Cup. Time to watch some body builders in action, baby! The Emerald Cup is a bodybuilding, fitness, figure, bikini and physique championship with health-industry vendors. This event is both on Friday and Saturday.

Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival. This annual festival celebrates Seattle's friendship with Japan and Japan's gift of 1,000 cherry trees in 1976. Enjoy Japanese art, dance, music, martial arts, and food at the Seattle Center. This event runs all weekend.

Spring Art Walk. Come to the capital as the streets of downtown Olympia come alive with visual and performing arts by hundreds of artists! Find hands-on family activities, demonstrations and impromptu street performances. This event is for artists, art lovers and the art curious.

Nina Simone: Four Women. This event tells the story of Nina Simone, an American singer, songwriter and Civil Rights activist. It will also feature her music in all different types of genres at the Seattle Repertory Theatre.

Seattle Modern Home Tour. We've been featuring the homes from the Modern Home Tour all week long and now the event is finally here! Drive-yourself by five modern homes in Seattle, plus two on the Eastside and go in a tour the homes. You will have opportunities to meet the owners and architects.
