Tulip Festival. Road trip! The Tulip Festival is READY TO GO BABY! Gaze upon the fields of tulips and daffodils up in the Skagit Valley.

AMA Supercross. CenturyLink is turning into race tracks this weekend with AMA Supercross coming into town! Watch dirt bike professionals race and do some crazy tricks and wicked stunts, bro.

Brunch Run. The only thing that will get me out of bed for exercise on a weekend morning would be BRUNCH AFTERWARDS. The Brunch Run is a 5K around Magnuson Park that is followed by brunch with Bloody Marys, a mimosa bar and beers!

Daffodil Parade. The Daffodil Parade will have daffodil floats, marching bands, clowns and pirates that travel through Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner, and Orting. The parade is part of the Daffodil Festival.

Sunday, April 8

Vegetarian Food Festival. In the Spring of each year the largest vegetarian food festival in the country, Vegfest, is held at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall on Mercer Street. Vegfest is a wonderful opportunity to taste from over 500 different delicious free food samples; see cooking demonstrations by chefs and cookbook authors; hear the latest information on nutrition and health from medical doctors; get free health checks, including cholesterol, glucose, and even artery scans; and choose from a huge selection of books.
