Welcome to the Weekend Report - where we tell you what's up in Seattle this weekend, the things you definitely don't want to miss. Why should we have all the fun at these events? Most of the things we are previewing here, we will be at - so if you see us say hi! We're guaranteed to miss some, so definitely email us if there is something wonderful we need to know about!

Friday, February 21

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. The 90's rap/hip-hop group is on tour this year and this Friday they will be performing at The Showbox. Tickets are $35 online and $40 at the door! Ages 21 and up only.

Pop! Bubbles + Seafood. Head on over to Union Station this Friday to have the experience of your tastebuds' dreams! The tickets to this event give you access to all the seafood and beverage offerings put together by Seattle Wine and Food Experience. This event will feature a huge seafood selection ranging from clams to oysters, and tons bubbly including champagne, rosé, sparkling wines, Spanish cava, Italian prosecco, and even more! Tickets are $85.

Through the Eyes of Art. Celebrate Black History Month at the MoPOP all day Friday! This year they will be exploring the history of black comedy in American pop culture and how it serves as a medium for speaking on social issues and views. This event will feature an art exhibit, a singing performance, spoken word, DJs, a Q&A with comedian and author Darryl Littleton, a comedy show and more! Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for youth, $12 for MoPOP members, and $8 for MoPOP members youth.

Pacific Place hosts Fleurs de Villes Mannequin Series. The world-renowned luxury floral event company, Fleurs de Villes unveils the “Mannequin Series” exhibition at the Northwest Flower & Garden Festival at the Washington Convention Center. Pacific Place will also be home to three of their fresh-floral mannequins and a “floral swing” for ten days. Snap a selfie on the swing or under an umbrella bedecked in a rainstorm of roses.Fleurs de Villes partners with local florists with leading brands to create elaborate and original works of art. This signature event marks Fleurs de Villes’ first time in Seattle, blending inspiring floral design with bespoke mannequins.

Saturday, February 22

Alki Winter & Beer Food Truck Festival. Beers on tap, food on wheels, views of the beach, and supporting a great cause! This festival is in conjunction with the annual Polar Plunge that is organized by Special Olympics Washington. Show your support while you're snacking and sipping! Along with having 20 different beers on tap and a lineup of food tucks, there will be live music and DJ's. Oh yeah, and it'll all be in a big heated tent! Tickets are $10 for general admission which includes entry and a 16 oz full pour beer and cup, or $25 for entry and 8 tasting tokens and cup. Tickets are $30 at the door.

Brazilian Carnival. If you want to be immersed in the traditional rhythms and sounds of Brazilian dance and song, get your tickets before they sell out for the "longest-running Brazilian Carnaval celebration in the PNW"! Show Brazil! has been putting on this event for 26 years are ready to celebrate Brazilian style with drumming, electric guitars, and dancing! Tickets are $25.

Seattle Dragons. If you were getting rowdy in your living room watching the Dragons play last weekend, now's your chance to see these men go at it again on home field turf! The XFL team plays at CenturyLink Field and tickets start at $24!

Sunday, February 23

Wintergrass. The award-winning music festival is back in town to celebrate bluegrass music! Wintergrass will be held from Feb. 20th to the 23th at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue. Bands playing at the four-day festival will be showcasing "Bluegrass Without Borders" which include sub-genres of bluegrass music such as modern, country, and jazz. Tickets are available for purchase online and have a variety of options including just a one-day pass.

Seattle Home Show. HGTV lovers and interior designers will have a ball at what is known to be "the Northwest's largest consumer home show". The event displays hundreds of exhibits and offer consumers a wide network to connect with indoor and outdoor building and design professionals. Seminars at the show will go over the newest trends and tips in decorating and re-modeling your home. The show is coming to an end this Sunday. Ticket prices vary.
