Local Movies. "Lost & Found" is a film by writer/director Joseph Itaya who grew up in Seattle and Whidbey Island. The film is a family adventure in the vein of the old Hardy Boys stories and follows two brothers in search of a long-lost family treasure. It’s hitting theaters on Friday, January 6th across the country and here locally at AMC Loews Alderwood 16. It will be available on VOD/DVD on Jan 10th. *See more in the video above.

Worst Day of the Year Run. Worst Day of the Year Run is a 5K winter run that begins at McMenamins Bothell and has a costume contest, plus an indoor finish line party with food and a beer garden. Want to know why it's the Worst Day of the Year? Because it's frigid, a Saturday and you're running :) Come in costume and you get a free adult beverage.

Seattle No Pants Light Rail Ride 2017. Do we need to say more? Be careful if you're riding the light rail in Seattle this Sunday - hundreds of passengers will be doing the no-pants dance (err, we mean ride). Why? We don't really know, but it happens every year and is a (chilly) hoot.
