Hand sanitizer and 2020 go hand in hand, and the Seattle Mariners and Tito's Handmade Vodka have teamed up to give away 18,000 bottles of it Wednesday, Oct. 21.
The Mariners and Tito's worked with the United Service Organizations Northwest to distribute all those 375 ml sanitizer bottles to the public, available for contactless pickup at T-Mobile Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Since they began production toward the beginning of the pandemic in late-March, Tito's has donated more than 900 tons of hand sanitizer to frontline workers and the public.
"As coronavirus cases began to spike in mid-summer, we set up contactless sanitizer giveaways in 10 cities across Texas, Florida and Arizona," said Taylor Berry, VP of brand marketing at Tito’s Handmade Vodka. "We're heading to Washington state next."
Hand sanitizer at the T-Mobile Park event will be available while supplies last, with each car getting three bottles. People must wear a mask when picking up, and cars, bikes and walk-up attendees will be accepted. You must be 18 years old or older to pick up.
This event will take place in the T-Mobile Park Parking Plaza at 1250 1st Avenue S, Seattle, WA 98134. Click here for more information.
